Upgrade to Active Drying

With the AMPC Active Cabinet Heater, you transform your passive AMdry storage cabinet into a fully functional drying oven. While the standard dry unit removes moisture from the air, this heater provides the thermal energy required to actively drive moisture out of the material itself.

Why this upgrade is essential: For highly hygroscopic materials like Nylon (PA), Polycarbonate (PC), or TPU, low humidity storage is often insufficient if the material has already absorbed moisture. Heat is required to release the water molecules ("regeneration").

  • Accelerated Drying: The heater significantly speeds up the drying process. This is vital for production environments requiring rapid material turnover.

  • Material Regeneration: Do you have filament that has been exposed to ambient air for too long? The heater raises the core temperature of the spool (adjustable up to approx. 40°C), causing moisture to evaporate, where it is then captured and removed by the dry unit.

  • Uniform Circulation: The unit features an integrated fan for forced air circulation. This ensures a homogeneous temperature distribution throughout the cabinet, guaranteeing that every spool is dried evenly.
